论文摘要:
Objective To investigate the gastrointestinal symptoms in peritoneal dialysis(PD) patients and hemodialysis(HD) patients.
Methods 89 PD patients and 102 HD patients were recruited in this study. Gastrointestinal symptoms were assessed by the gastrointestinal symptom rating scale (GSRS) and
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Questionnaire(GerdQ). Patients’ general data, blood hemoglobin, calcium, phosphorus, intact parathyroid hormone, albumin, creatinine, urea nitrogen and Kt/V were collected.
Results The prevalence of troublesome gastrointestinal symptoms (GSRS >1) was 83.1% for PD, 82.4% for HD. The mean GSRS scores of PD patients were higher than HD patients(4.7±4.3 VS 3.8±3.3,P=0.004). The occurrence rates of heartburn, reflux, nausea and vomiting were higher in PD group than HD group. There were 16 patients (18%) in PD group had determined gastroesophageal reflux by GerdQ that were much higher than HD group(8 patients, 7%). BMI was positively correlated to GSRS scores in dialysis patients(B=0.43,P=0.05;B=0.221,P=0.025), while hemoglobin was negatively correlated to GSRS(B= -0.059,P=0.034;B= -0.061,P=0.026).
Conclusion Dialysis patients had a high prevalence of gastrointestinal symptoms.PD patients were particularly outstanding in gastroesophageal reflux symptoms. Gastrointestinal symptoms were related to BMI and hemoglobin.
